Anisong + Jrock + Jpop

Following her motto, "Music is a bang," Hanabi Flare likes to perform with explosive energy! Already gaining a following, dancing and singing on video we bsites like YouTube and the Japanese Nico Nico Douga, this 17 year old performer is slowly climbing her way to her number one goal of becoming a singer in Japan.

Starting off at a young age, Hanabi fell in love with the popular anime series "Pokémon" and eventually immersed herself in all aspects of Japanese culture. This, plus becoming an active member in musicals and dance programs, were all part of the equation of becoming the girl Hanabi is today. Just a year ago, Hanabi started uploading her dance videos on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga in pursuit of someday becoming an Akiba-kei idol in Japan. Now, after a complete transformation, she is going back to what she first loved and is singing anison, or anime songs, J-rock songs and continuing to dance to popular J-pop and VOCALOID songs.

Hanabi Flare is influenced by many different sounds and artists but always refers back to her main role models: The pop/rock girl band SCANDAL, the world famous visual rock band the GazettE, and the multitalented, "high-tension," idol seiyuu, Nana Mizuki. As of now, Hanabi is a cover artist but hopes to soon create songs with her own sound and taste; and of course choreograph a dance to compliment them! Not only does she love to perform with explosive energy, but she also enjoys getting the audience involved with her performances. So be on your toes and prepared to sing and dance along with her to your favorite anime, J-pop, and J-rock songs! Don't forget, music is a BANG!
